Call for Proposals: Innovative Solutions in the Fintech Domain

The CAMS IITM Fintech Innovation Lab (CIFIL) invites Faculty members from any reputed Institutions to submit proposals that demonstrate innovative and practical solutions addressing challenges and opportunities in the Fintech ecosystem.

This initiative aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote applied research, and translate academic insights into impactful real-world solutions. Selected proposals will be showcased through CIFIL’s innovation and incubation platform and may be considered for funding, pilot testing, or partnership opportunities with industry and regulatory bodies.


FOCUS AREAS

We solicit proposals for projects aimed at technological solutions to problems in banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) industries. We welcome proposals that focus on research, innovation, or outreach for societal impact. We encourage proposals on research and development of products, processes, technologies and field implementation benefitting the BFSI industries. We particularly welcome proposals having potential for generation of Patents/Products/Field Implementation. It is also encouraged to submit collaborative R&D proposals with the involvement of Industry, Government and Regulatory Bodies and R&D Institutions. The proposals can be related to the following areas (but not limited to):


            Digital Payments and e-Rupee Applications

            AI/ML-driven Credit Risk and Fraud Analytics

            Blockchain and Tokenization in Financial Services

            Financial Inclusion and Digital Literacy

            ESG, Green Fintech, and Sustainable Finance

            Personal Finance, WealthTech, and InsurTech Solutions

            * Quantum Computing and Data Security in Finance


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Eligibility: Open to all faculty members from reputed institutions.

Proposal Length: 2–3 pages (approx. 1000 words).
